April 8, 2014. The Minnesota chapter of the Building Enclosure Council has appointed M. Steven Doggett, Ph.D., LEED A.P. as its new chair. Dr. Doggett succeeds Judd Peterson, AIA who served as the chapter’s founding chair and currently serves as vice chair of the Building Enclosure Technology and Environment Council (BETEC) of the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS).
Dr. Doggett is the Founder & CEO of Built Environments, Inc., an architectural & building science consulting firm with a special focus on building enclosures and resilient design.   Since founding the firm in 2000, he has served as the principal investigator and senior project manager on projects involving all markets and all building types. He combines diverse experience in architectural forensics with intelligent, resilient design while leading a growing transformation in high-performing buildings.
