Learning Objectives: This talk will provide a short overview of ethics and how it is relevant to today’s challenges and the will present a couple of case studies to show how to apply it in dilemmas that can arise in the building design and construction industry. You will learn about ethics, be given some tools when confronting ethical dilemmas, and see how to apply them in real situations.

Bio: Thomas Fisher is a professor in the School of Architecture at the University of Minnesota and the director of the Minnesota Design Center. He has written three books about ethics in the design and construction industry and is a frequent lecturer on the topic.
